The “goal is to get people thinking and talking – one doc at a time.”
— Tom Zillich, Surrey Now

“When we are really honest with ourselves, we must admit that our lives are all that really belong to us. So it is how we use our lives that determine what kind of men and women we are. It is my deepest belief that only by giving our lives do we find life. I am convinced that the truest act of courage, the strongest act of humanity, is to sacrifice ourselves for others in a totally non-violent struggle for justice. To be human is to suffer for others.”
– Cesar Chavez

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
– Edmund Burke

“Rebel children, I urge you, fight the turgid slick of conformity with which they seek to smother your glory.” – Russell Brand

“For nonconformity the world whips you with its displeasure.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

“All progress has resulted from people who took unpopular positions.” – Adlai Stevenson

“Civil disobedience is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of leaders…and millions have been killed because of this obedience…Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves… (and) the grand thieves are running the country. That’s our problem.” ―Howard Zinn
